Publication: Learner Control Book Chapter

Michael Karim and Dr. Tara Behrend have published a book chapter in an edited volume, Increasing Student Engagement and Retention in e-Learning Environments: Web 2.0 and Blended Learning Technologies. The book chapter reviews research on learner control and learner engagement and discusses how an expanded taxonomy of learner control can be applied to emergent technologies (e.g., Mobile learning and MOOCs) and traditional methods (e.g., Textbooks and classroom learning).
