Policing Research and Organizational TECHnology (PROTECH) Study

PROTECH Study Description

This research project is being conducted by Dr. Daniel Ravid from the Department of Management at the University of New Mexico, Dr. Brad Alge from the Department of Management at Purdue University, and Dr. Tara Behrend from the College of Social Science at Michigan State University. This project is funded by the National Science Foundation. The purpose of this research is to develop a better understanding of how police departments and officers use technology, and the goal is to improve effectiveness and safety for law enforcement officers and the communities they serve.
